About Invision Sally Jobe

Invision Sally Jobe is a premiere provider of imaging services in the Denver area. Here's what makes us special.

Comfort & Convenience

Providing excellent care and a positive experience are our top priorities. We have 13 centers in the Denver Metro area with convenient exam times, including evening and weekend hours. We also accept most insurance plans.

Spectrum of Services

Invision Sally Jobe is known nationwide for our breast services, including mammography. But we are also Denver's largest provider for additional medical imaging services such as MRI (including open-bore MRI) and CT scans. Some of our additional areas of expertise are head and neck, cardiac, and orthopedic evaluations.

Specialized Radiologists

Our well-trained, innovative radiologists are from the nation's most respected programs and universities. Most are fellowship trained and have a high level of expertise in their chosen specialty. Many have received national recognition for their publications and contributions.

Forward Thinking

We are committed to utilizing progressive techniques for diagnostic imaging. We've been the first to offer various exams, such as 3D mammography and musculoskeletal ultrasound, in the Denver area. We also participate in clinical trials, such as the 3D mammography trial, for which the results were recently reported in The Journal of the American Medical Association.

Cost Effective Imaging

We provide high quality, cost effective imaging exams in the Denver metropolitan area. Our radiologists also read for many local hospitals and are able to provide continuity of care between these hospitals and our outpatient centers.

New Guidelines Worry Breast Cancer Experts and Survivors

Newly finalized recommendations that women begin mammograms at age 50 instead of 40 worry breast cancer experts like Dr. Lora Barke, medical director of the Invision Sally Jobe Breast Centers. She recently told Kathy Walsh of CBS 4 News that she fears the guidelines could result in millions of women -- including more than 350,000 in Colorado -- losing insurance coverage of their annual mammograms.

Breast cancer survivors who were diagnosed in their 40s are also alarmed by the new recommendations. "I probably wouldn't be here, to tell you the truth," said Karen Cary, who was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 44. Hear her story and learn more about the new guidelines, and how they could impact you or someone you love.

Breast Health Experts Advise Annual Mammograms Starting at 40

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recently released newly finalized breast cancer screening recommendations. Even though the USPSTF acknowledges that screening mammograms reduce breast cancer deaths in women in their 40s, it recommends women start screening at age 50 and receive the potentially life-saving procedure every other year instead of annually.

Dr. Lora Barke, medical director of the Invision Sally Jobe Breast Network, joins the Society of Breast Imaging and other breast-health experts in recommending annual mammograms starting at age 40. One in 6 women diagnosed with breast cancer is under age 50, and 75 percent of breast cancer patients have no family history of the disease. To learn more, click on the link below.
